About Us

Jaxen's Journey was started in June 2016 to give updates of our 2 year-old sons health when he was diagnosed with Pediatric Pineoblastoma. He fought very hard for 5 weeks, and was taken from us. Since then we have contemplated on what we can do to help others going through this horrific process. When finding out all of pediatric cancers only get 4% of government funding for research, the rest going to adults; it was not fair! Children have the rest of their lives to live and we were only giving them 4%. Through this, we decided to honor Jaxen by starting an approved 501c3 Foundation that raises funds strictly for Pineoblastoma Research. There is a research team that has been researching the 5 deadliest pediatric brain cancers at Cincinnati Children's. They have contacts all over the world through the Children's Oncology Group (COG), to assist with furthering this research. All proceeds that we raise will go straight their pineoblastoma research, so they can find a cure, and less children and families will suffer.
